It’s no surprise that market leading brand Welch Allyn is present in almost all GP surgeries, most own or operate a copy of Welch Allyn CardioPerfect WorkStation software a comprehensive cardiopulmonary data management system that allows you to transform any computer or laptop into an efficient diagnostic solution for storage of all your patients test results data.
But what happens if your surgery is one of the many thousands of surgeries around the UK upgrading their computer operating systems to Windows 10. How do you switch from one system to another? Has your CardioPerfect software disappeared? what about the patient results?
Firstly, you need to know which version of the software you were/are operating. Each version has a release number eg 1.6.0 to 1.6.4. This can be found on your PC if you still have access to view it. If not have a look on your original disk or invoice.
Next, one of our trained engineers can assist you, usually over the phone, and help you get up and running. Sometimes it’s nessesary to access your network, this can be arranged through your IT support. Disk drives and USB ports on PCs were used for software installation but due to security risks are being phased out and this can mean that we have to look at different installation options. The whole process is usually straightforward and we can get you up and running in no time.
If you need a newer version of the software, Hillside can also provide this prior to installation.
Do not hesitate to speak to one of our freindly engineers if you have any questions!
